Impromptu meetup arranged by Tengku, she buzzed me a day earlier to check my schedule and I was able to accomodate her till a certain hour as I had prior plans to attend to. There was a tahlil held at Nyi’s to welcome Ramadhan and sort of a bonding moment for the family, to appease the matriach actually. Nyi’s been sick and what she really needs now is to be fussed at, to have all of us around her to shower her with undivided attention. As a grandson, it is my duty to adhere to that, I obliged because I want to and I grew up under her care, wasn’t really close to my maternal side while growing up though.

We decided to dine at NewYork, NewYork, CityLink for late lunch. I buzzed Fieda as Nur informed me that she made other plans as I did not confirmed the appointment. Wei, I did not arranged this but yeah usually I would buzz her to meet her along the way so I coaxed her to het dressed and head down to meet us. Which she did, yeah!!! and had desserts with us. Don’t you underestimate the power of a man’s pujuk!! lol.

Ijabkabul : Debaran Ipin

Took a cab with cabby clueless of where Teck Whye is, I had to direct the way but I’ve not been to his place either so it’s like an amazing race moment. Chet!! Found the road name and the block at last, mental note to self to always do a map.google search before embarking on an unfamiliar journey.

Took some “behind the scene” shots of Ipin being fussed around by not 1 but 3 minders and he was a still quite calm. Elek bro, elek.

When Our Xiao Mei Mei Came To Visit

She’s having her term break and she came by to visit us, that is our favourite impish little sister, Jasmine Blundell. This slit-eyed gal used to part-timed with us when she came by from her native Brunei to continue her studies here. Her dad’s caucasian and she’s schooled at some international school back in Brunei and her accent was mind boggling. She speaks very fast when she’s excited and it was a nice change in our department. She made these little handicrafts presents for everyone when she left to continue her studies. BTW she just turned 18!

Jasmine, stop being angsty and hit your books!! lol

Good Bye Ayer Rajah

The last few who had to ensure we export all relevant stuffs to the new office. The old office now look so bare, so stripped off it’s dignity, so raw and so vulnerable.

And I could not keep my eyes open on that fateful supposedly non working weekend.
