Supper Sapedek
The primary school peeps were out celebrating National Day while I was still stuck in the office. I was planning to join in the celebration but I bumped onto the glass wall and bent my specs. My curse was as loud as the bump and I was rendered half blind without the specs, do not laugh; as to date 4 other colleagues got into a similar fate. The glass wall is just too new and unfamiliar fixture in the office.
Naz sms-ed me if we should join them after work, he’s working too and we did at around 9pm. The kind bro fetched me from home and we met the rest of the geng at West Coast Food Centre, next to Jamiyah. I was actually thinking of McDonalds at West Coast, I need my fix of fast food after weeks of abstinence. The place was packed with everyone clad in white and red, presumely families and friends that have just returned from watching the parade.
The food was ok, my favourite bubur power stall was closed and I opted for murtabak instead which I finished half only. Oh, apart from Naz and me, the molkos and the radins were around. Faye’s new friend, whose name eludes my memory now, FB id DefunctHearsay was around too. The last supper before Ramadhan kicks in.

Mujahiddin
Alhamdulilah, blessings of Ramadhan and after years of inability to perform the solat Jumaat due to time and work constraints, I was able to now perform this weekly obligatory duty. The new office location made it convenient for me to shuttle from work and the mosque; just one bus stop away. I must say it didn’t really bothered me before, but recent events had me thinking and I kept on the doas so that “tuhan permudahkan keinginan hambanya melakukan segala kewajibannya”. syukur arter 4 years of working at the company, on the first Friday of Ramadhan, my doa was answered.

Working On A Weekend
Had to return to work on National Day due to some miscommunications between the departments, I had to complete work before Tuesday. The colleagues handling China, Hong Kong and Australia were back to work as well so it ain’t so much a chore. Did the major move on Saturday and only began unpacking the boxes and testing the computer system on Monday, National Day itself. I need my day off for my upcoming Bali trip soon!! Yeahooo, yes Bali one more time!!

Qana’ah
(Hud : 6)
