Seoul Garden Taka, Ramai Yg Tak Poser Rupanya

Ish Ish Ish, masa aku sampai kat Seoul Garden Taka, dorunk tunjukkan tempat duduk sebelah 4 mats nie yg rata² tengah sedap mengunyah. Dorunk ber4 tersipu² malu ngan semyum kambing kat aku. Aper hal ko nak malu ngan aku, ngan tuhan ko tak malu plak. Kalo pun ko tak berdaya nak poser, mana aku tau kan sebab musabab ko, tapi HORMATILAH sikit bulan mulia nie. Dah dekat maghrib, apa salahnya korunk makan lepas waktu Maghrib. Mengata orang time poser pun dosa tapi niat aku bukan nak malukan org. Kalo memang niat aku jahat, aku dah snap muka dorunk letak kat FB.

Sambil tunggu waktu, aku amiklah makanan yg nak disalai, aku nampak ada akak nie ngan 3 anak dia sedang sedap melantak. Budak² tu kesian dibesarkan tanpa tau erti sebenar ramadhan. Nie yang malas nak iftar kat luar, mata nampak benda² cam nie. Bingit ok.. tapi makan memang power kat Seoul Garden.

Meh BerBBQ Korean Chicken At West Coast Plaza

Iftar with the siblings before heading off to Geylang Serai to get my Hari Raya bajus. This would be my first trip to Geylang Serai since the start of Ramadhan and I need to get all psyched up mentally and physically. We met up Abg Han at West Coast Mall since we three were from home and dined at Korean BBQ Chicken. There used to be an outlet at Cineleisure but it was recently closed. I had the JERK chicken which was mildly sedap, with fries and coleslaw and it dawned upon me, what’s Korean about this dish? Hmm ada unsur² penipuan ye.

At The Shahabs For Iftar

Thank you Mummy Icha for hosting the gracious iftar for us, the CSS peeps. I’m so impressed with this petite lady, she managed to cook up a storm and it’s not an easy feat to juggle housework and taking care of 3 young kids, including twins. Icha certainly did not cheat and opt for the easy way out by goreng2 mee or nasi but she did her very own briyani dam, complete with cashew nuts. Apparently I’m the only one enjoying the nuts hence all nuts for me. There’s also the ayam masak merah, a dish all ladyfolks must know, kata nak tambat hati suami dan mak mertua kan. Also there’s pencok or jeruk nenas and for appetiser, there’s pengat pising. In her own words, “Aku dah masak, kalau korang tak dtg, aku choke slam.”

For entertainment, we have the adorable kids to max us out. Yeah aku sampai tertido layan si Aehsan..

Of Cinnamons And Melts

Met up Aidil after my tarawih at McDonalds Jurong Superbowl for some cinnamon melts and catching up. He lives just a bus stop away but we’ve rarely met due to his shift works. Member order chocolate shake then ask for strawberry flavour. LOL. I had McFlurry and the melts, sweet tooth for the night.

Break Fast @ Tiffany..

Sungkai!! Sungkai is the new iftar; sounds less Arabic and sopan but a tad too boorish. Ziana reserved 15 seats at Tiffany Cafe for our break fast, (the verb not the noun) and they are having the 1 for 1 promo, for UOB or DBS cardholders. The total for each pax is $50 now being shared for two, how great is that. The menu is of course, less comparable to Carousel’s but tetap hebat. Do check out the pengat durian, lor mee, cold sashimi and the asian dishes. Berbaloi.
