Indulgence In Johore
Guess who got upgraded? To the 15th floor nonetheless on the THISTLE CLUB; this weekend is certainly getting better and better by the minute. The room was spacious enough for me and everything looks exclusive. The view was non obstructing and it was just roads leading up north. I would have prefered the Singapore skyline view instead but that was not on my top priority list.
15mins gone and I’ve started to get lonely. Listened to my iPod on full blast while soaking in the bath full of bubbles, while reading the magazines that I bought earlier at New Southern Mall. I’m having my ‘ME’ momentnow but having no one to share it with makes it dull. I am truly a sharing is caring guy.
Welcome to the club, sir
The walkway…not exactly red carpet but a shade of grey
Ahh egyptian thread count??
Vanity section, can the mirror be any bigger?
The bath..i wonder if anyone baths in milk nowadays
The dataran facing Danga Bay and far beyond is the Singapore skyline
OMG the pool…time to soak in the sun!!
Solitude In Johore
If I could save a penny for every depressing thoughts, I wouldn’t need to slog it out at work now. At this very moment, I could be suntanning at the new TANJONG BEACH CLUB @ where else, Tanjong Beach, Sentosa. The name is such a dead giveaway which indefinitely reflects us as a very ‘creative‘ nation, who else could come up with such aplomb names like the THE BUDGET TERMINAL. I’m still very sore at the fact some kiddo could walk away with ridiculous rewards for just stating the obvious.
As someone who have slogged through life, the corporate world with the political shenanigans and the never ending rat race would certainly age someone. In the process, hardens one’s heart, fill it with prejudice till sugar, spice and everything nice would remain a fantasy. I could have the means and time to enjoy myself but being not one with my true feelings and at peace, there is nothing Shangri-Las or Banyans could do to please you.
Undoubtly so, I hopped on the next bus to Johore to escape the country, far away from everything and everyone that bogged me down. I wasn’t really alone, buddy Norm was there to escort me through the day since he drove a mean white KIA. We spent the afternoon checking out the new Setia Tropika houses that were into the 2nd phase and had lunch at Pizza Hut, followed by having a cuppa at Starbucks. Yeah, that day we were the datok’s wilful sons., only for that day. That’s before Norman dropped me off at Thistle lobby and did his errands. My adventure with me, myself and I begins….
JB Sentral, the southern version of KL Sentral
The Malaysian Immigration was a grand building
Norm relaxing on his zebra printed rocking chair
Where the show begins…opps ahahah
Norm and me are gonna be neighbours and we are already planning block parties
Toast
Self appreciation moment
I love Starbucks so much, someone ought to get me the mug
Chilling
Having a Cuppa at Setia Tropika..oh la la
