Legian Adventures 19April

We ditched our initial plan to get our massages (Fiq and me) at Sanur because Muz and Nur wants to venture around Kuta instead and wash up before dinner at HRC. We got Pak Arta to send us to the middle of Kuta town along Jalan Pantai Kuta via Jalan Legian but we could not find a map of Kuta with us. We were all so unfamiliar with the road and so many lanes but our gut feelings told us that it will be swell.

Muz and Nur were not interested in the massages and wanted to meet us for dinner in 1hrs time but the handsome duo (Fiq and me) decides to shop first before the massage where I got myself a new wallet and Fiq got himself 2 helmets. He got himself another the next day. The handsome duo were so famous they got various offers of getting high with “MAGIC MUSHROOM” which they politely declined and also lewd suggestive offers of “AYAM KAMPONG“. lol. Muka kitorunk horny ke pe. wahahaha. No, we did not take up that offer too.

After the great massage with the Putu(s) *inside joke*, we walked by Jalan Legian looking for Poppies Lane to get home and perhaps get dinner along the way. Putu(s) suggested  Warong Made (pronounced Ma-Day) but there’s PORK on the menu and Fiq was quite adverse to the idea of dining at a non halal restaurant and so we found some warong selling javanese cuisine. The nasi campur cost both of us 10000rupiahs each but our coconut juice (Fiq’s) and jus wortel (mine) cost us 35000rupiahs each. So in Bali, carrots and coconuts cost more than chicken. lol.

BTW, before we started the message we met up coincidentally with Nur and Muz who decides to abandon the handsome duo on this foreign land because 1hr was too precious to be wasted and so off they went to Ramayana restaurant for dinner. HRC was supposedly a very famous tourist spot and could be a raid-potential area. So, erm ok.

We could not find Poppies Lane but the nice passerbys told us to walk by Legian Beach to reach Kuta Beach’s McDonalds and we came found Jalan Melasti to bring us to Kuta Beach. Fiq was asking me if we should a cab but hey I was in for an adventure. If I was alone, yeah I would certainly hail down one but deep down the TINTIN in me, told me to solve the mystery of the missing lane. Fiq was having the runs and I was having the coughs but both of us need to find our way back by ourselves. It’s for our male EGO. wahaha. We did, we did found the McDonalds which we rewarded ourselves with Fish O Fillets and ice cream.

Dok, adventure dok!! And when we rested later that morning (we reached the hotel past midnight) we had wide grins on our faces. We were winners!!
