Denpasar Dong 18April

4 hours of SPA session, all the works; hair treatment, facial, body scrub, massage which ended with a flower bath. Rejuvenating but the massage part was majorly compromised and I’m so in need of another massage session. The Spa session was very affordable, around SGD50 after conversion and if you would want to try it out, it’s run by Pertinen, affliated with Tegal Sari Ubud. They do have pick up around Ubud area. Naturally we have our own supir to chaffeur us around because KITA MAMPU!! wahaha riak riak!!

Uh Uh Ubud 18April

Our first taste of hard bargaining, stuffs here are diverse and majorly marked up 200%. While Muz HRC and Tengku scource for their stuffs, me & Fiq tag teamed to get the best prices. I would give an introductory offer and he will counter with a discount for bulk purchase. It does help that we are so ganteng that the women in Bali swoon at our presence. I’m not making this up. lol.

I was still in search for a cool pair of shades, no luck as yet. Bummer.

Nyet Nyet Nyet 18April

Next stop after lunch was the Monkey Forest, situated in Ubud. The actual long name for this place is Mandala Wisata Wenara Wana Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary located at Desa Pekraman Padangtegal Ubud – Bali. Entry is only 20000rupiahs and beware of the monkeys, they certainly know whose the boss here.

Bebek Bebek Bebek 18April

We stopped at Ubud for late lunch, at Bebek Tepi Sawah Restaurant which was part of the Tepi Sawah Restaurant & Villa. The view was astonishing although the sawah looks more like barren muddy patch instead of the vast greenish yellow paddy field I was expecting. If you are into great ambience despite the absence of fans at certain parts of the restaurant, made it too humid for me.

It was lunch time and a few items from the menu was unavailable. My chilli prawns which was supposed to be big tiger prawns were substituted for shrimps and the sirloin steak was unavailable karna sapinya ngak ada ya. Well, at least they informed me when I was placing order and of course, you must try the jus wortel which is carrot juice in Indonesian. Here, the best juice available would be jus alpukat or apricot juice. Harus tanpa es ya!!

As you could probably guess, the speciality here is bebek which is duck in English and itik in Malay.
