I Got IKEA-ed

The room need to be re-done. Sometimes, it’s quite a shame although I’ve seen worse but according to my standards, this is close to being very ‘sad’. Although I’ve blasted my budget for December and pay day is not anyday soon, this issue has now escalated as top priority. Christmas is around the corner ok, I need to prep up my room to welcome the Santa Claus. Ridzzie Widzie, my home no chimney ah, please use the front door.

I’ve decided to paint my room again a darker shade of grey. If I decide to use ICI Dulux, it would be smoke pearl and Galaxy if it’s Nippon paint. Jotun is much cheaper so I’ll choose that, getting everything fixed up is much more expensive than what I’ve expected. I need SPONSORS!!

Fieda came to accompany me to shop for my room neccessites and I’ve picked out white curtains with grey designs and a few storage boxes to dump my stuffs in. Few as in 4 large blue boxes and 2 smaller sizes ones. Plastic acrylic ones and not the flimsy but aesthetically enhanced cardboard one. I need some GREENS too, maybe I should get some ferns or cactus too. Time for another trip to IKEA, after the paint job is done and some redecorating complete. I need new shelvings as well.

And She Got Hers At Last

And now she can sleep soundly as she got her new toy after months of deliberations. Mak and Fieda followed suit to welcome the arrival of Seha’s Ijr. Fieda did the welcoming dance, Mak recite some prayers and I cut the ceremony ribbon for her. LOL.

It was all she could take about the whole day on msn. She even did the countdown and I swear, she did a leap of joy when the clock struck 6 times at the end of the day. If it was me, I would have taken the day off, somehow I’m guilty of fuelling her excitement and enthusiasm.

Dinner was Nasi Ayam penyet at Lucky Plaza, the only restaurant open after 9pm.

Jusco Dinner With The Parents, Siblings and The Nieces + Nephew

Our ruse to get Dad to LOVE Bukit Indah and perhaps have more overseas trips to Johore since he wasn’t a fan of Johor Bahru. Bukit Indah is vastly different and Dad gave positive vibes which means looking at showrooms here was not a premature planning after all. Dinner was at Jusco foodcourt, I had the black pepper chicken rice claypot which cost me only RM6.50.

This was an impromptu dinner outing since Dad had to clear his leave and so we ventured up north for some family time, bringing the kids with us this time around. I’m going to Ikea soon with Fieda for our new furniture and fittings, house in Bukit Indah underway? I’ll tell you more soon.
